Eddie Vedder to appear on David Letterman?

*EDIT* I got confused for a minute. The Toronto gig is associated with the Body of War premier, NOT Into the Wild. Oops. Eddie is just so busy lately...

I love message pit rumors! Today, the pit is buzzing about whether Eddie Vedder might show up at The Late Show with David Letterman on Friday, September 14th. Friday's episodes are taped the preceding Monday evenings.

You see, Sean Penn is a scheduled guest on Letterman for the episode that will air on 9/14, presumably in support of Into The Wild. So far, the musical guest for that episode is as yet undetermined, so what do YOU think?? Eddie and Sean are buddies. Eddie did the soundtrack for Into the Wild. Eddie has to be in Toronto on Tuesday the 11th to perform after the Body of War premier. Don't you think its kinda likely that Eddie will be in NYC on Monday the 10th WITH Sean for the taping of The Late Show, when it is common knowledge that Eddie is fond of Mr. Letterman and his show? Eddie in MY CITY...oh the thought of it gets me pumped already!
