Whoa! The 40th Anniversary of the Summer of Love continues with a reunion tour by Big Brother & The Holding Company, the band which made, singer Janis Joplin famous after a notorious performance at the Monterey Pop fest in the summer of 1967.

New Yorkers can catch the band that made rock and roll history, sans Joplin of course, at Terra Blues this Thursday, August 30.
