CMJ shows worth checking out tonight

Here are some CMJ show's worth checking out tonight:

1. Tiny Masters of Today at Bowery Ballroom- this duo consists of a brother (13) and sister (11) from Brooklyn, who have a write up in the current Rolling Stone Issue. Apparently they're cool enough to have Karen O. from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs make a cameo on their album. I always like watching kids rock out. They'll also be playing a free Brooklyn Vegan Showcase tomorrow at Pianos.

2. Mates of State at The Annex. Also playing Joe's Pub tomorrow.

3. 1990s at Hiro. This is the last CMJ gig for these guys.
