maybe if we're lucky one day we can all live in a community and share all the food, money and resources we have.
heaven forbid we have a free market economy to promote hard work and accountability in addition to healthy and productive compitition.
heaven forbid people actually contribute to their own social security/retirement.
clearly tax cuts for the rich are to blame for the state of social security today and the only way get the message out is for overpaid and undertalented "celebrities" bitch and moan about George Bush and Iraq. That's the ticket - people who only care about themselves and their hair and who will never have to worry about money a day in their lives should be the spokesmen for the "underprivliaged" in the United States. Clearly Ben Affleck, Tim Robbins and the Democratic Party have "Johnny Coal Miner" best interestes at heart.
But hey if we're lucky Hilary Clinton will be President in 2008...
awesome! I was lookin for some action on this blog!! YAY! Stating a liberal point of view in this group is like wearing absolutely no pants or underwear to school/ work!
It seems very ironic to me that the country where "the streets are paved with gold" would want to promote an agenda that would persecute people for working hard and "bettering" themselves with education and better jobs.
The REWARD for me working my ass off to get into a good college, to get a good job to then get into a good graduate school to make money to provide for my family is the be taxed at 35%-48%???
Hmm if that's the case why don't I just live with all my friends, working from 9-5 while we all get paid the same, share everything, and every now and then one of us will be dragged behind some wall and shot. I mean that's not so bad as long as its not me right? This is a good system...
I'm sorry but the America I know and love wants me to work my ass off. Its no wonder that our 229 year old country is the most powerful in the world. People here work their asses off, are creative and inventive. As such they should be rewarded. If I make $300,000 a year then $105,000 of it should go to the Federal Government?? So that Hillary Clinton can give my hard earned money to a family of 37 illegal immigrants living in Queens???
Once upon a time there was a funny looking little kid from Detroit who wanted to go to law school and be famous. Fast forward 20 years and here I am, with NY Bar under my belt and ready to take over the world!!
